It has become apparent that we’re rapidly growing since the merge of Rerun hosting and Rewindhost. Unfortunately, this has lead to the fact that our current server cannot sustain our server needs any longer as we’re rapidly growing with clients each and every day. We’ve thought this over for a few weeks now, and we have finally decided that the server move is essential and will be the best thing for you, and the rest of the clients. The timeline for the transfer is as follows: (1) We will being hardening the server. After the hardening is complete we will install all the control panels needed. (2) 12 hours before we start the transfer, we will shut down FTP on Leopard. (3) Once the 12 hour grace period is up, we will being remotely backing up all the accounts on the server and restore them on the new one. (4) After 2 and 3 are complete, we will repeat the previous two steps for server Nitro. You should receive 5 emails regarding the transfer after this one. The first email will tell you that FTP is being shut down. The next one will tell you that the transfer is starting. Following that, you should receive an email stating the IP address information for the new server. After that you will get an email telling you that the transfer has been completed for your server. Finally, you will get an email telling you when the whole transfer process is complete.
