It has become apparent that we’re rapidly growing since the merge of Rerun hosting and Rewindhost. Unfortunately, this has lead to the fact that our current server cannot sustain our server needs any longer as we’re rapidly growing with clients each and every day. We’ve thought this over for a few weeks now, and we have finally decided that the server move is essential and will be the best thing for you, and the rest of the clients. The timeline for the transfer is as follows: (1) We will being hardening the server. After the hardening is complete we will install all the control panels needed. (2) 12 hours before we start the transfer, we will shut down FTP on Leopard. (3) Once the 12 hour grace period is up, we will being remotely backing up all the accounts on the server and restore them on the new one. (4) After 2 and 3 are complete, we will repeat the previous two steps for server Nitro. You should receive 5 emails regarding the transfer after this one. The first email will tell you that FTP is being shut down. The next one will tell you that the transfer is starting. Following that, you should receive an email stating the IP address information for the new server. After that you will get an email telling you that the transfer has been completed for your server. Finally, you will get an email telling you when the whole transfer process is complete.

Spring Break is finally here which means it is almost Summer Break! Wow I can’t believe how fast the first 3 months of 2010 went. Anyways over the next week for Spring Break we will be doing a lot of promotions on twitter and to our fabulous clients that already host with us.

It seems like we have not blogged it forever, which we haven’t. I missed us blogging but now we are back and will update once every week or so. Well you haven’t missed much but Rewindhost.com changed servers and is now changing our look which should be out within 1-2 weeks, we are so excited.
I also need to bring up some rules people have been breaking in the past month

Well this is RewindHost first Christmas/Holiday season we would like to let you know the plans and how everything will work over this week of the Holidays.
Well we have been thinking and even on Christmas people need support for orders and technical support, so we have decided that we are going to offer Support/Orders on Christmas day December 25, 2009!
We are very excited to be able to offer support those days. Everything that day will be email support but you should not be disappointed with the email response time. We have made it so we have staff here for backup in case we do get busy but we plan on having everything covered the whole day.

Hey it’s Harrison. I just wanted to say a few words about the rest of the year and what is going to be happening in the great year of 2010.
First, the last part of this year. Dang has this year flown by, Rewindhost.com was created in May and is still standing and has amazing hosting I hear. Well I would like to thank all of my customers for this. If you are a current customer contact me for a 4.00 domain of your choice. Also when we first started we were nobody now we are somebody. People are always raving about how good our service is and how we respond quickly. We would like to keep that up for years to come.
Second, 2010 and what you should expect to see. We have a amazing list of things we would like to have set as goals.

Yes, many of you have seen the latest promo that we have to offer. Now when you buy any monthly plan you will receive a email and we will be asking you what free .info name you would like.
We also have another thing in store for you which is the new look of Rewindhost.com we have been working really hard on it and it is getting to be almost done. We think it will be up on the website sometime next week.
Their is also going to be good changes with G4 of Rewindhost.com. We are going to improve the website a bunch with a lot of new features. We are also going to offer jobs, and support is going to be improved a lot more then now even though you never have to wait long for email replies. We also plan to get live support again and we are still deciding which company we would like to go with for that. Also prices and plans are changing and will be better for all of us.

So it is November, the time of the year that starts to get ready for Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Well Rewindhost.com is going to be changing a lot with a new layout, and prices!
